Calling Teens! Join us for a workshop to express who you are with fabric, art, and words!

For centuries, cultures around the world have used symbols on fabric to convey information about their history and emotions.  There is a rich human history told through quilts, African, Mexican, and European symbols, and even bandanas.

Come join Newark artist Noelle Lorraine Williams to use words and symbols and whatever you want to design your own bandana, scarf, peace flag, or wall square.

All materials provided.

Free and open to the public.

For further information, please call Weequahic Branch Library at 973-733-7751.

Funding provided by the Victoria Foundation.
