Newark Public Library December Book Club – Newark Public Library

Rather than choosing a designated book that everyone will read, we are having a BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) theme. This means you can just talk about any books you are currently reading or have read in the past. We hope that this can be a low-stress and fun get-together, and we can plan out some of our books for 2021. Here are a few questions (which are by no means exhaustive) that you might think about:

  • What books have changed your life?
  • What books have made you laugh out loud?
  • What books have been a disappointment to you?
  • What is a book that you think everyone should read?

If you would like some suggestions of what to read next, why not try the Newark Public Library’s readers’ advisory service? You can find the form for that here.
