Rutgers-Newark Community Writing Center Workshops

Fall 2017 & Winter 2018 Workshops

Community Writing Center workshops will provide hands-on skills in writing for professional purposes, personal expression, academics, and civic engagement. Come with an idea or problem, leave with something you’ve written!

The Community Writing Center supports creative expression, information literacy, fluency in academic and professional discourses, and community engagement in civic affairs through the craft of writing. Founded on the belief that writing is socially transformative and affords possibilities for self and social reflection, growth, and mobility, the Center seeks to build community, one word at a time.

Last Saturday of each month, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
No registration required.
