Distinguished Librarian Jeffrey Trzeciak (pronounced Tree-Zak) became the new Director of the Newark Public Library on February 27, bringing decades of innovation and success in urban communities to Newark. Over the course of his 30-year career, Jeffrey has been a champion of civil rights and social justice, particularly in the African American, Hispanic and LGBTQ communities.
