Speak Up, Speak Out public speaking orientation for elementary and Middle School.
Hosted by New Jersey Orators and Springfield Branch Library.

The New Jersey Orators, Inc. ( is a 35-year-old non-profit youth organization that teaches the art of public speaking, an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy, college readiness, and life skills for youth form 7 to 18 years age in preparation for college. In a national evaluation survey of our program, it was noted that “students in the NJ Orators program demonstrated the most significant educational outcomes and self-esteem/resiliency scores when compared to their similar peer group”

  • Register for free SAT/ACT Prep Sessions
  • Obtain college and scholarship applications
  • Meet recruiters from North Carolina Central, NJIT, Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, New Jersey City University, Montclair State University, Johnson and Wales University, Morgan State University, University of Delaware, Lincoln University, Seton Hall University, University of New Haven, Felician University, Ramapo College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, William Paterson University, Rowan University, St. Peter’s University, College of Saint Elizabeth, US Armed Forces and more

For onsite consideration please bring

  • two (2) letters of recommendation
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • personal statement
  • high school transcripts.
